Hello there! I’m Dim P. Papadopoulos (aka Δημήτρης Π. Παπαδόπουλος). I was born in Thessaloniki, Greece back in 1988 and since September 2013 I am living in Edinburgh, UK.
I am a final year PhD student at the School of Informatics of the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Dr. Vittorio Ferrari and Prof. Frank Keller. The aim of the PhD is to combine ideas from computer vision, eye-tracking research and natural language processing.
In 2011, I graduated (2nd in my class) from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of the Democritus Univercity of Thrace (DUTh) by receiving the M.Eng degree with honors. In the same year, I joined the M.Sc course of the same Department. I successfully completed both the required classes and the Master’s Thesis in one year and in December of 2012, I received the M.Sc degree with honors (graduated once more 2nd in my class).
